About me

My name is Dagmar Kadlecová, and although I come from South Moravia, I have only been interested in wine since 2016. After I received the sommelier certificate from the Sommelier Association of the Czech Republic and after I became a finalist of the competition “Bohemia Sekt Tropheé - Sommelier ČR” the best sommelier of the Czech Republic 2018, I signed up for WSET courses. After successfully passing the WSET Level 3 Award for Wines and Spirits, I continue my studies with Level 4 - Diploma for Wines and Spirits.

This seminar is the first step on the way to becoming a sake sommelier. It not only introduces you to the history of sake production, but also the culture, tradition and way of serving sake. After completing the seminar, you will receive a certificate from the Sake Sommelier Association and thus the right to participate in the Sake Certified Sommelier course.

Kurz Certified Sake Sommelier

The course enables you to become a sake sommelier. This course is the flagship of the SSA qualification and covers making sake, identifying flavours, serving sake, and more.

Improve your knowledge of sake with the next step in the form of this three-day course, which will give you a deeper insight into sake production, introduce you to the areas of its production and analyse the raw materials for its production in more details. Discover how versatile sake can be. In this course you have the opportunity to try a wide range of sake styles from premium to top, from dry to sweet, still or sparkling, filtered - unfiltered, maturing - new, different aromas and flavours, flowers, fruit, wood, Spices, nuts and / or umami. We will try to combine sake not only with Asian cuisine. You will taste the differences that have amazed many sake connoisseurs. The program culminates in an exam, after which the successful students receive the SSA sake sommelier title and a pin in addition to the certificate. The exam consists of multiple choice questions, a small number of written questions and a blind tasting.
